We are expanding our research efforts at our Goa University lab and are looking for a motivated researcher who enjoys hands-on experiments, literature exploration, and independent project ownership.

Role Overview

Electrochemical / Biochemical Researcher

Key Responsibilities

• Execute wet-lab experiments: pipetting, buffer preparation, sample handling, biochemical assays

• Design and run independent research projects with minimal supervision

• Perform scientific literature reviews to guide experimental strategy

• Record data, maintain lab notebooks, and prepare reports

• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and assay development teams

• Troubleshoot experiments and optimize protocols

Required Skills

• Basic wet-lab skills — pipetting, buffer preparation, lab safety

• Strong curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving mindset

• Ability to read and interpret scientific literature

• Good documentation and communication skills

• A “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn new techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biophysics, or related fields

• Prior wet-lab exposure through coursework, projects, or internships

• Interest in electrochemistry, diagnostics, or biosensors

• Motivation to pursue a PhD (optional but supported)
