Electro-Mechanical Engineer – Erection & Installation (Electrical Focus)

Job Description

Summary We are hiring an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer (Electrical Focus) to oversee installation and commissioning at project sites for wastewater treatment plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical execution and a working knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, dosing systems, instrumentation, and control panels. Success in this role means timely, safe, and technically sound installation and commissioning. This role is critical to ensuring project readiness and smooth handover to the O&M teams. Responsibilities Install and commission LT panels, starters, cable trays, conduit, earthing, and field cabling Execute wiring and termination for field instruments, actuators, flowmeters, level transmitters, and sensors Ensure proper installation of electro-mechanical equipment including pumps, blowers, screw presses, and dosing skids Coordinate with vendors, automation teams, and site engineers for panel integration and power-up Prepare and verify installation checklists, testing protocols, and as-built documentation Ensure site safety, electrical compliance, and report project progress to head office Travel to project sites across India as required Qualifications Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering 3–6 years of hands-on experience in STP/ETP or industrial projects Sound knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment: pumps, blowers, mixers, decanters, actuators Must be able to read electrical layouts, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and panel GA drawings Experience in field cabling, VFD programming basics, and panel terminations Familiarity with installation and troubleshooting of industrial instruments (DO, pH, flow, etc.) Good communication skills and a proactive, site-driven attitude Willingness to work at remote project locations as per deployment schedule Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,893.40 - ₹59,041.28 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
