Job Description

Position Summary:

Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, outlets, switches, panels, and fixtures
Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Perform inspections and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
Ensure all installations comply with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and standards
Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and other tradespeople on job sites
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an electrician apprenticeship or trade school certification
Valid electrician license or certification as required by local/state regulations
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
Ability to work with hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and schematics
