Electrician (Smart metering)

You will be responsible for handling the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of smart electricity and gas meters at residential and commercial properties. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Installing single-phase and three-phase smart meters (electric and/or gas) following industry standards and safety protocols. - Conducting accurate testing, commissioning, and verification of meters post-installation. - Diagnosing and rectifying faults in smart meters and associated equipment. - Communicating professionally with customers to explain installation processes and address queries. - Maintaining meticulous records of installations, maintenance activities, and service calls. - Ensuring all work is executed in compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. - Utilizing handheld devices for job scheduling, data entry, and reporting purposes. Qualifications required for this position: - Certification as a Smart Meter Electrician. - Strong background in electrical systems. - Sound technical knowledge base. - Dedication to providing top-notch customer service.
