Electrician : Manufacturing Industry

Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in the manufacturing facility to ensure smooth and safe operations. This role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting production equipment to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and equipment in accordance with electrical codes and company standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in production machinery, motors, PLCs, control panels, and lighting systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure reliability and safety.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Report any unsafe conditions or electrical hazards to supervisors immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience as an Industrial or Plant Electrician in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with industrial automation and instrumentation (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
