Job Description

Job Title: Electrician – Maintenance

Department: Engineering & Maintenance
Location: Almas Hospital

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician (Maintenance) to join our Engineering & Maintenance team at Almas Hospital. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the hospital premises.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and hospital equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure timely resolution to prevent service interruptions.
Support the installation and maintenance of generators, UPS systems, and other power backup equipment.
Ensure all electrical systems comply with hospital safety standards and statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report any major breakdowns to the supervisor.
Assist in energy conservation initiatives and preventive maintenance programs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.

Qualifications and Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a hospital or large facility.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices and equipment troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.

Skills Required:

Technical knowledge of hospital electrical systems and equipment.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Employment Type: Full-TimeReporting To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facility Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
