Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair:

Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical components of packaging machinery, conveyors, sealing machines, labeling equipment, and other production lines.
Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing tools and repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, motors, drives, and PLC components.

Installation & Commissioning:

Install new electrical systems and machinery in compliance with technical drawings and safety codes.
Assist in the setup and calibration of new packaging and processing equipment.

Preventive Maintenance:

Execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure reliable operation of equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report potential electrical hazards or breakdowns.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure all electrical work meets food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP).
Follow plant safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.
Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, drives (VFDs), sensors.
Experience with packaging machinery (fillers, sealers, labeling machines, conveyors).
