Electrician Engineer / Technician

1. Job SummaryThe Electrician Engineer/Technician will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. The role requires sound knowledge of electrical circuits, safety procedures, industrial equipment, and preventive maintenance. 2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Installation & MaintenanceInstall, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, control systems, and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance of machines, generators, panels, motors, and electrical tools. Ensure proper functioning of electrical components and replace faulty parts when required. B. Troubleshooting & RepairsDiagnose electrical issues in machines or systems using tools, meters, and testing devices. Repair or replace malfunctioning components and ensure proper grounding and safety compliance. Attend breakdown calls and ensure timely restoration. C. Safety & ComplianceFollow electrical safety standards, company policies, and relevant statutory guidelines. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance work, inspection reports, and service logs. Ensure compliance with IS standards, electrical codes, and safety protocols. D. Technical SupportAssist engineers in electrical project execution. Coordinate with mechanical and operations team for smooth operations. Support installation of new machinery, panels, and automation systems. 3. Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, and industrial equipment. Hands-on experience with tools like multimeters, clamp meters, and testing equipment. Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. Knowledge of DG sets, compressors, motors, and wiring (if applicable). Understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes. 4. QualificationsDiploma (Electrical Engineering) / ITI Electrician / equivalent. 1–5 years of experience as Electrician Technician/Engineer (Freshers can be considered based on requirement). Certification in electrical safety or industrial maintenance is an added advantage. 5. Work EnvironmentField/onsite service jobs or plant-based maintenance (depending on company requirement). Must be willing to travel for service calls (if required). 6. Salary :-As per company norms and candidate experience.
