Electrical Technician

The Diploma Electrical Technician is a crucial member of the Research and Development (R&D) team, focusing on Vehicle Control Units (VCU) and Battery Box components. You will be responsible for creating Bill of Materials (BOM), verifying battery designs, updating Material Requisitions (MR), managing stock, planning production, overseeing bus bar templates, participating in battery assembly and testing, coordinating procurement, leading site installations and testing, supporting trial runs and shore charging tests, providing on-site maintenance, and assisting the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of electrical systems across projects. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical system handling, preferably in battery systems or automotive applications, possess strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits, VCUs, and battery management, exhibit good troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities, demonstrate experience in on-site electrical installations and maintenance, and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments. The salary range for this position is 18,000 - 20,000 per month. This is a full-time job with a day shift schedule.
