Electrical Supervisor

JOB TITLE: DGM – Electrical

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced DGM – Electrical to oversee and manage the complete electrical systems and infrastructure of our ethanol distillery. The role involves leading the electrical department, ensuring uninterrupted power supply, managing utility systems, implementing energy-saving strategies, and ensuring safety and statutory compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage all electrical operations, maintenance, and projects across the plant.

· Ensure smooth functioning of HT/LT panels, transformers, switchgears, DG sets, motors, VFDs, MCCs, and all electrical utilities.

· Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in production and utility areas.

· Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for electrical assets.

· Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, factory rules, and statutory regulations.

· Coordinate with production, mechanical, instrumentation, and utility teams for effective plant operations.

· Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors.

· Prepare and manage electrical maintenance budgets, spares planning, and procurement coordination.

· Interact with government bodies (e.g., Electrical Inspectorate) for approvals and compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

· B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (M.Tech is a plus)

· 10+ years in a process plant, with proven experience in managing electrical operations in an ethanol/distillery/sugar/chemical/biotech plant

· Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, PLC/SCADA interfaces, energy conservation, and plant safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
