Electrical Service Engineer (Field)

As a Service Technician, your role involves processing and reviewing service tickets within stipulated turnaround time, assisting the service sales team in generating leads, and ensuring proper communication with customers. You will be responsible for installations of systems and overseeing the installation and commissioning of energy systems such as KVH optimization system, wind turbines, and solar panels. Your key responsibilities include: - Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on energy systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. - Replacing or upgrading components to extend the life of equipment. - Providing on-site and remote troubleshooting support for energy systems. - Maintaining detailed records of service visits and issues resolved. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also be expected to contribute to maintaining a healthy and motivating work environment by participating in employee engagement activities and fostering a collaborative team spirit. Your behavioral competencies should include communication skills, time management, attention to detail, conflict management, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility, and presentation skills. Preferred skills for this position include a strong technical knowledge of energy systems, proficiency in diagnostic tools and software, and the ability to work independently. The expected qualifications include BE Electrical, Diploma Electrical, or ITI - Electrical, with varying levels of experience.
