Electrical Operation Cum Maintenance Technician

Job Description 132kv Electrical Switchyard Operator/Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical switchyard equipment, ensuring reliable power transmission and distribution. Key Responsibilities *Operate and monitor switchyard equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, motors and relays. *Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, inspecting, and testing equipment. *Troubleshoot and repair faults in switchyard equipment, using technical manuals and diagrams. *Collaborate with other teams to coordinate maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime. *Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. *Maintain accurate records of switchyard operations, maintenance activities, and repairs. Requirements *1 - 2 years of experience in electrical switchyard operations or maintenance. *Strong understanding of electrical theory, switchyard equipment, and safety procedures. *Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment. *Basic computer skills and knowledge of electrical control systems. *Diploma or equivalent required; Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
