Electrical Estimator

As an Electrical Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for handling electrical project costing, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and vendor coordination. Your primary role will involve preparing detailed cost estimates based on technical drawings, specifications, and project scopes. Additionally, you will be expected to create, manage, and revise BOQs, costing sheets, and price proposals. Effective coordination with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations and seek technical clarifications is a crucial aspect of this position. You will also play a key role in supporting the preparation of tender documents and project proposals. Interpretation of project designs, layouts, and technical documents will be necessary to ensure accurate estimations. Maintaining comprehensive records of estimations, revisions, and follow-ups will be part of your regular duties. Collaborating closely with senior engineers and project managers is essential to ensure cost efficiency and project success. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Diploma or B.E. in Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of 13 years of experience in electrical estimation or project costing. Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and estimation tools is required. Strong communication skills are essential for effective vendor and client interactions. An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs is also necessary to excel in this position. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, leave encashment, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shifts with a yearly bonus offered. The preferred education level is a Diploma, and candidates with at least 1 year of experience as an Electrical Estimator are preferred. The job is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
