Electrical Engineering Internship in Mumbai (Hybrid)

At Albatross Energetics, we’re reimagining what “cooling” means, beyond outdated, inefficient boxes on walls. We're a next-gen AC startup founded by IITians, operating out of IIT Bombay, and we’re on the hunt for the next big shift in how India stays cool—one that can unlock affordable, sustainable thermal comfort for the next 100 million homes. Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include Develop thoughtful, people-centered questions that go beyond the obvious to uncover hidden needs, behaviors, and beliefs around cooling. Engage with individuals across geographies and backgrounds—through interviews, shadowing, and informal conversations—to understand how people cope with heat. Identify recurring signals, overlooked habits, or emerging tensions in how thermal comfort is experienced, especially in underserved or unconventional settings. Maintain clear, well-organized notes, photo logs (where permitted), and reflection summaries to support team learning. Work with peers from varied backgrounds to challenge assumptions, test ideas, and co-develop early hypotheses. Help connect dots across interviews and research logs—converting scattered stories into meaningful questions, themes, or opportunity spaces.
