The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, execution, and commissioning of 33/11 kV GIS substations and the associated HT/LT electrical distribution network up to the end-user connection. The role demands strong technical skills, project execution capability, vendor coordination, and familiarity with utility standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and commission electrical systems for GIS substations (33kV & 11kV) up to 220kV.
Conduct HT/LT network design and protection relay coordination studies using software such as PSS/E or similar tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and meet customer requirements.
Troubleshoot issues related to SCADA, RTU, RMU, and other electrical equipment in substations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during the entire lifecycle of a project.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong understanding of GIS substations (33/11 kV up to 220 kV).
Proficiency in HT/LT network design, RMUs, transformers, and feeder routing.
Knowledge of relay protection, SCADA/RTU, and interlocking logic systems.
Experience in cable sizing, grounding design, and fault-level calculations.
Familiarity with IEC/IS standards and local distribution codes.

Qualifications:

BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
4-10 years of experience in substation and power distribution construction projects.
