Role Summary

• As an Electrical Engineer at Burns & McDonnell India, you will be a key member of a dynamic group that excels in designing complex electrical systems for global Oil & Gas projects. From conceptual layouts to the final build, you will provide pivotal design insights and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve world-class outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Familiar with major regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design work in own discipline
• Knows technical theory and engineering principles in discipline
• Understands and prepares basic electrical system, One-Lines, Metering & Relaying, wiring and schematics
• Understands basics of low voltage power systems and can apply them for sizing & selection of electrical equipment
• Apply solid knowledge in electrical theory and engineering principles to produce robust design solutions
• Perform system analysis like short circuit, load flow, TCC, arc flash, relay system coordination, motor starting & harmonic analysis, ground grid study
• Perform system study analysis in software like ETAP & SKM
• Leverage office productivity tools (word processors and spreadsheets) for project documentation and data analysis

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited college or university plus 2-5 yrs of applicable related field experience
• Master s degree in related field may be substituted for one year of applicable experience
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical design software with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Proven ability to coordinate teams and drive collaborative efforts
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with prior experience on U.S.-focused projects
• Expertise in ETAP & SKM Software
