Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer – Blue Metals / Crusher Unit (C-License Holder Mandatory)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with a valid C-License to manage, operate, and maintain all electrical systems in our Blue Metals / Crusher / Mining operations. The role involves ensuring uninterrupted power supply, safe electrical practices, equipment efficiency, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Electrical Operations & Maintenance

• Operate and maintain HT & LT electrical systems, substations, transformers, panels, MCCs, and switchgear.
• Handle electrical systems of crushers, feeders, conveyors, VSI, screens, compressors, and mining machinery.
• Monitor and maintain motors, VFDs, starters (DOL, Star-Delta, Soft Starter).
• Perform preventive, breakdown, and corrective electrical maintenance.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Electrical Inspectorate, CEIG, and statutory safety regulations.
• Maintain electrical safety standards and enforce LOTO (Lockout–Tagout) procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks for electrical staff.
• Maintain proper earthing systems and lightning protection.

Power & Energy Management

• Monitor power consumption and improve energy efficiency.
• Coordinate with TANGEDCO / Electricity Board for power supply issues, shutdowns, and inspections.
• Maintain power factor, capacitor banks, and reduce electrical losses.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain electrical drawings, SLDs, logbooks, maintenance records, and statutory registers.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly electrical maintenance reports.
• Assist during audits, inspections, and renewals.

Team Coordination

• Supervise electricians, helpers, and contractors.
• Plan duty rosters and guide technicians during critical electrical work.
• Coordinate with mechanical and production teams for smooth plant operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Valid C-License (Mandatory)
• 3–7 years of experience in crusher, quarry, mining, cement, or heavy industrial plants
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, motors, drives, and industrial electrical equipment
• Knowledge of Tamil Nadu electrical rules (preferred)
• Ability to work in shift and outdoor mining environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
