Position Title: Automation Motor Development Engineer (Shutter Motor & Gate Motor)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Automation Motor Development Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of our next generation of rolling shutter and sliding/swing gate motors. This role requires a strong blend of electrical, mechanical, and control systems expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Motor Design: Design and optimize the electromechanical core of AC/DC motors (e.g., Tubular, Side-mounted) for high torque, reliability, and energy efficiency, specific to shutter and gate applications.
• Mechanical Integration: Design the associated gearbox, braking mechanism, and housing for durability, noise reduction, and seamless integration with the shutter/gate structure.
• Control Systems: Develop and integrate electronic control boards (PCBs), including limit switch systems, remote-control interface logic, and safety features (e.g., anti-crush, obstacle detection).
• Prototyping & Testing: Build and rigorously test prototypes to ensure performance meets required torque specifications (Nm) and duty cycles under various load conditions.
• Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant Indian and international safety and electrical standards.
• Material Sourcing: Collaborate with the procurement team to specify and source high-quality components and materials.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Experience: Proven experience in the design and development of low-speed, high-torque geared motors or similar electromechanical systems (e.g., pumps, actuators).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and motor simulation/analysis tools.
• Key Knowledge Areas: Gear train design, magnetics, winding configurations, and microcontroller programming for motor control.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
