Electrical Designer

You will be responsible for producing drawings within appropriate timescales and to a high level of quality by following specifications & calculations as per best Electrical and MEP engineering standards and practices. The drawings include GFC, Shop Drawings, Elevation Layouts, As-built Layouts, and Coordination Layouts. It is essential to ensure that the quality of drawings is maintained as per international engineering standards with details on layers, dimensions, clearances, clashes, and BOQ references mentioned. Incorporating accurate and appropriate details such as client and all project stakeholder names, approval and revision details, dates, drawing status, etc., on all drawings is crucial. You will also be responsible for filing and maintaining all soft copies of drawings in the company archive for future reference and use. Additionally, preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CAD systems, performing calculations for materials and weight limitations, and submitting and following up for approval of all drawings with the project team, PMC, client, and consultant are part of your responsibilities. Communication with engineers, incorporating knowledge gained into drawings, preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the engineering team, ensuring final designs comply with building regulations, identifying and communicating potential design problems to the team, quantifying all line items in the GFC, shop drawing, or as-built layout, and carrying out regular program monitoring to identify changes in the project status are also key tasks. You will be working under the supervision of the Asst Manager- Design and Estimation Engineer, performing all jobs assigned by MD/ Asst. Manager- Designs. **Qualification & Preferred Skills:** - BE/Diploma Engineer of electrical background with 3-4 years of experience - IT Skills MS Office proficient - Experience in Google Workspace preferred - Excellent communication skills - Excellent in documentation - Ability to work independently The company offers full-time, permanent employment with a day shift schedule. A yearly bonus is provided based on performance. The required experience includes 3 years in Electrical Design, 3 years in AutoCAD, and 1 year in Revit Software.
