Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Manager to lead the design and engineering efforts for high-rise buildings, substations, and other civil construction projects within our MEP electrical contracting business.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Team Collaboration
Liaise with clients, consultants, and execution teams to understand project requirements and deliver optimal electrical design solutions.
Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve technical queries.
Electrical Equipment Design
Lead the design of electrical systems including switchgears, transformers, panels, and cable layouts for high-rise buildings and substations.
Monitor and track engineering deliverables including design documents, drawings, and approvals to ensure timely submission and quality compliance.
Maintain documentation and version control of all design outputs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
8+ years of experience in electrical design within MEP contracting, especially for civil construction projects

Proven experience in high-rise building and substation design

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables under tight timelines
