Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electrical design engineer to join our team. The candidate must have strong expertise in AutoCAD for electrical design and layout preparation, along with the ability to develop Bill of Materials (BOM) for industrial automation projects. The role involves designing electrical control panels, preparing wiring diagrams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with the engineering team for smooth execution of projects. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Design and prepare electrical control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and GA drawings using AutoCAD. • Create and maintain detailed BOMs (Bill of Materials) for panels and field wiring. • Select appropriate components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, and other electrical devices. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety guidelines (IEC, IS, UL). • Coordinate with project engineers for design validation and execution. • Support panel fabrication teams by providing clear wiring diagrams and technical support. • Perform design revisions as per customer feedback or project requirements. • Prepare documentation and maintain version control of designs.
