Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop complete
electrical layouts and schematics
for buses (standard, electric, luxury, etc.).
Create and validate
wiring harnesses
,
circuit diagrams
,
load calculations
, and
fuse sizing
.
Coordinate with
mechanical design
,
production
, and
purchase
teams to ensure integration of electrical components (lighting, infotainment, HVAC, sensors, cameras, etc.).
Ensure compliance with
AIS standards
(AIS-007, AIS-052, etc.), CMVR, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with OEMs and component suppliers to source and integrate components like batteries, inverters, switches, relays, etc.
Conduct
troubleshooting and validation
of electrical systems during prototype and production stages.
Prepare and maintain
BOMs
,
design documentation
, and revision histories.
Support in cost optimization and quality improvements for electrical systems.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on new technologies in automotive electrical systems.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of
automotive electrical systems
, preferably in
bus body building
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD Electrical
,
EPLAN
, or similar design software.
Experience with
CANbus
,
ECU integration
, and
HV systems
(especially for electric buses).

Qualifications & Experience:

B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
.
3 years
of relevant experience in automotive or bus body electrical design.
