Job Description

As a Principal Engineer at Air Liquide, you will play a crucial role in the engineering design and execution of proposals and projects. Your strong technical abilities, combined with profound knowledge of Engineering principles, will be essential in delivering safe, compliant, reliable, efficient, and practical solutions. Here's how you will contribute and grow: Role Overview: - Act as the discipline lead engineer for various proposals and projects. - Deliver work within contractual framework, quality, schedule, and cost-effectiveness to achieve project desired results. - Participate in the development and implementation of engineering practices, workflows, and procedures. - Control key parameters, benchmarks, and efficiency figures for estimating equipment, material, and man-hours. - Coordinate and participate in training programs for Engineers and Designers. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with Discipline Manual and Job Manual during project execution. - Manage technical procurement activities for various equipment. - Review and approve Vendor documents. - Attend inspections as required. - Assist site queries and provide support. - Perform MHRS calculations using Discipline calculation tools. - Lead and coordinate Electrical Engineering for Projects. - Review client ITB and prepare estimates. - Conduct various Electrical Calculations and system studies. - Prepare technical documentation such as Cable list, Equipment data sheet, etc. Qualifications Required: - Experience: 3-20 years in EPC or Detail design engineering company. - Education: MTech/ME, BTech/BE in Electrical Engineering. - Familiarity with International Standards like NFPA, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, IEC, IS. - Effective communication skills and proactive coordination. - Ability to identify cost optimization opportunities during project execution. - Proficiency in tools like ETAP, DIALux, Auto-CAD. - Experience in working on Large Machines 5 MW and above.
