Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at Christian Pfeiffer Maschinenfabrik GmbH, you will play a crucial role in both the offer phase and execution phase of projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing tender documents, raising technical queries, and collaborating closely with the Project Management team to ensure efficient project execution. You will be responsible for preparing various deliverables such as consumer lists, Instrument Lists, IO Lists, Cable Interconnection Drawings, Control System Interlocking Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Instrument Hook-Ups, Instrument Location Plans, JB Grouping, PLC Architecture Drawings, and Instrument Datasheets. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing specifications, data sheets, sizing of Electrical equipment, SLDs, schematics diagrams, electrical calculations, layouts, inquiry/purchase requisitions, vendor offer reviews, lighting calculations, and estimates for bids. Your role will also involve providing engineering input to proposals, preparing technical queries, risk registers, project execution plans, technical bid analysis, and contract requirements review. You will work on establishing contract review criteria, identifying discrepancies, resolving divergences, and ensuring compliance with design based on engineering practices, company standards, client contract requirements, and international codes and standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing equipment layouts, issuing engineering drawings, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, preparing inquiry requisitions to vendors, guiding technical bid evaluations, and coordinating procurement activities. You will also supervise the review of vendor drawings, documents, and design calculations to ensure compliance with client equipment specifications. In this role, you will interface regularly with clients and vendors, coordinate with projects and planning departments on schedule-related issues, and ensure project progress according to schedule, man-hour allocations, and budgeted costs.
