1.To Direct all policies and procedure of the EHS and Merck guidelines to PMPL.
2. Implementation and Monitoring of EHS KPI's.
3. Assist Management regarding Legal Requirements and monitoring its compliance.
4. Preparation of Internal EHS Audit plan, conducting audit & monitoring compliance of observations.
5. Compliance of Global EHS Audit observations.
6. Preparation of EHS training calendar and Conducting training at sites.
7. Conducting Mock Drill as per schedule.
8. Conducting Risk Assessment /JSA of critical activities
9. Investigation of Near Misses/Incidents in stipulated time and tracking compliance
10. Ensuring work continue with MOC for new project.
11. Implementation of Employee Engagement Program at site to increase EHS awareness.
12. Responsible for Site Security.
13. Responsible for Improving Safety Culture
