EHS Officer

You will play a crucial role as an HSE Professional at our leading hydro power equipment manufacturing company, dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Your tasks will include developing and enforcing robust HSE policies, conducting regular risk assessments and hazard evaluations, and overseeing safety training programs for employees. You will monitor compliance with HSE regulations, prepare documentation for inspections and audits, and investigate accidents to prevent recurrence. In addition to managing waste, pollution control, and energy conservation practices, you will also be involved in emergency response planning and incident management. Continuous improvement of HSE programs, collaboration with other departments, and analyzing accident trends will be essential aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in manufacturing or the energy sector. Knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management, and environmental compliance is essential, as well as familiarity with ISO standards. Preferred skills include experience in the hydro power or renewable energy industry, proficiency with HSE software tools, and relevant safety certifications such as First Aid and CPR.
