NOTICE PERIOD should be LESS

1. Exp: 9 to 14 years with more than 5 year experience in FMCG Sector
2. Qualification : M.E. MTech in Industrial Safety (from Recognized and approved colleges) or Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute (RLI)
3. Strong Hold on EHS Parameters & all legal certifications related to factories
4. Should be a senior and strong resource having minimum 10-14 years of experience with Good Manufacturing Industries.
5. Will be a higher position post so Expectations is that he should be the backfill of National SHE head position, so capability of Senior Manager level
6. Should be a stable candidate and served a longer tenure in industries.
7. Since it is EHS position, Should have experience in Environment in Addition to Safety.
8. ETP handling experience is must to have

9. The current Designation should be Manager or AM with 2-3 yrs of Experience.
10. Preferred if the person has worked in Uttarakhand region as he must be aware about the dealing with Govt official and his acceptability will be good.

• Responsible for ensuring everyone in the company complies with Environment, Health and Safety laws.
• Establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace. Must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards, also be able to discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various EHS programs.
• Ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential.
• The goal is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational Health, Safety and Environment.

Legal & Statutory

Investigating incidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures.

Periodical mock-drill and fire-drill and taking corrective and preventive actions on lapses found through the drill.

Environment, Health and Safety

Conducting the new employees occupational health, safety and environmental orientation.

Managing the procurement of personal protective equipment and safety equipment inventory in a financially responsible manner.

Devising EHS SOPs and instructions and its horizontal deployment.

Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulatory compliance.

Directing, supervising and evaluating work activities of medical & nursing in Occupational Health Centre.

To advise on safety aspects in the design and use of plant, equipment and systems of work.

Enforcing work permits and lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) procedure.

Periodical reviewing of Environmental Aspects and Impacts across the facility to understand the environmental risks.

Devising Operational Control Procedures, Work Instructions, Environmental management programs, Objectives and Targets based on the risk factors.

Ensuring HAZARD COMMUNICATION as per GHS/NFPA.

Monitoring safety KPI and always look for improvement in it and reporting the KPIs, analyse trends and ensuring progress.

Audit

Ensuring OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001 compliance.
