EHS Manager - BMRCL - 10

Description

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager for the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to lead our environmental, health, and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management, along with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to EHS standards.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on EHS policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain EHS reports and documentation for management review and regulatory compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management or a related field.
• 9-14 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices in India.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports for management decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
