EHS Coordinator

As an EHS Coordinator at our company in Ernakulam, Kakkanad, your role involves supporting and overseeing our environmental, health, and safety initiatives. You will ensure compliance with regulations while promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies, programs, and procedures - Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance - Organize and deliver safety training sessions and orientations for employees - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions - Maintain records related to workplace injuries, training, inspections, and regulatory reporting - Support environmental compliance activities, including waste management, emissions tracking, and reporting - Work with leadership to develop emergency response plans and lead drills - Promote a strong safety culture through continuous engagement with all departments - Monitor changes in EHS regulations and ensure timely compliance updates - Coordinate with external agencies during inspections and audits **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field - Freshers/ 0-1 years of EHS experience in a Telecom industry, industrial setting - Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations - Certification such as OSHA 30-hour, NEBOSH, or equivalent is preferred - Excellent communication, training, and organizational skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office In this role, you will also enjoy benefits such as health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and provident fund.
