Education Counselor

Core Responsibilities

• Client Assessment & Support: Conducting initial evaluations to identify a client's needs and acting as a support system by providing a confidential space for them to express feelings.
• Treatment Planning: Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's challenges and goals.
• Guidance & Skill Development: Guiding clients in understanding their emotional issues and teaching them practical coping mechanisms, problem-solving techniques, and life skills.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate, confidential records of client sessions and progress.
• Collaboration: Working with other healthcare providers, agencies, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care and facilitate referrals.
• Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate support during crises and assisting clients with making difficult decisions.
