Job Title: Education Counselor Department: Sales & Admissions Location: Pune Company: Matriye Software Pvt. Ltd. Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary:Matriye Software Pvt. Ltd., through its EdTech platform CosmosIQ.ai, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Education Counselor to guide students and professionals in selecting the right online courses, certifications, and career paths. The ideal candidate will play a key role in converting leads into enrollments by building trust, offering expert advice, and delivering excellent support throughout the admission process. Key Responsibilities:Counsel students and working professionals on course offerings, career paths, and learning opportunities available on CosmosIQ.ai. Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups with potential leads. Understand learner needs and suggest appropriate programs based on their career goals. Convert prospects into enrolled students by clearly explaining course benefits, fees, and outcomes. Maintain a database of inquiries, interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM. Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to provide feedback for improving services. Meet or exceed weekly/monthly targets for counseling sessions and enrollments. Participate in webinars, orientation programs, and education fairs as needed. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, or Business preferred). 1–3 years of experience in counseling, sales, or EdTech domain preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (other regional languages are a plus). Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with learners. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem-solver. Comfortable using CRM software, video conferencing tools, and productivity applications. Preferred Qualities:Passion for education and helping others succeed. Experience in the EdTech industry or academic counseling. Knowledge of online learning platforms and digital course formats.
