EDMCS Analyst

We are seeking a Financial Systems EDMCS Analyst with expertise in Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and administering EDMCS, as well as developing applications and managing security. This role requires a deep understanding of financial systems and the ability to optimize and maintain data integrity across various platforms. The analyst will collaborate with Finance and IT teams to support business needs, improve processes, and ensure the smooth integration and functionality of EDMCS within the organization.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain processes in Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS).
• Ensure accurate and consistent master data across 5+ financial platforms including Oracle Cloud Fusion 24A and Oracle Cloud Suite (EBS), Peoplesoft and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) planning applications.
• Work with Finance and IT teams to understand and meet master data export/extract design requirements.
• Maintain custom validations enabling custom business logic to enforce data rules in EDMCS applications, dimensions, node types, and hierarchy sets.
• Manage and develop expressions for properties, derived attributes and extract filters using expression builder.
• Automated data system integration processes in EDMCS, reducing manual intervention and improving data accuracy with epmautomate.
• Implemented data validation rules in EDMCS to prevent inconsistencies and ensure the reliability of financial data.
• Periodic reconciliation of migrated and synchronized metadata changes across multiple environments, ensuring consistency across systems.
• Provided ongoing support and troubleshooting for EDMCS-related issues, resolving them promptly to minimize disruption.
• Collaborated with stakeholders to design and implement EDMCS solutions that align with business requirements. Continuously improve finance and accounting processes and systems. Regularly monitored EDMCS performance and made necessary adjustments to enhance system efficiency.
• Analyze and recommend improvements for existing EDMCS applications, extracts, validations, and configurations.
• Provide support and resolve business user service requests (SER), viewpoint support, change request approvals, hierarchy questions, or extract issues in EDMCS.
• Evaluate and improve internal controls and security for financial applications.
• Configure and manage user security roles and access permissions in EDMCS to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain user documentation, administration manual and process documentation.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on new or existing EDMCS processes.
• Participate in special projects and additional tasks as needed.

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Technology.
• 3+ years of related technical and/or business experience.
• Equivalent education and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Required working knowledge and experience in EDMCS, including system configurations, administration, application development, and security management.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Advanced Microsoft SQL Management.
• Ability to document and evaluate processes and recommend improvements.
