EDI Integration Specialist

Role Overview :

The EDI Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations across the logistics ecosystem, enabling seamless communication between customers, carriers, partners, and internal transportation systems.

This role is critical in ensuring accurate, real-time exchange of shipment, status, and freight invoice data, supporting operational efficiency and visibility across domestic and global logistics operations.
The position requires strong hands-on experience with the Seeburger EDI platform, which will be used as the primary EDI integration and mapping solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, support, and maintain EDI integrations for logistics and transportation processes using

  Seeburger

  .
• Handle carrier and customer EDI onboarding, including setup, testing, and go-live support.
  
• Perform EDI mapping and data transformation using

  Seeburger mapping tools

  between EDI formats and internal systems such as TMS (Oracle Transportation Management OTM), ERP, and WMS.
• Monitor daily EDI flows in Seeburger, identify failures, and ensure timely issue resolution.
  
• Collaborate with operations teams, IT, and external trading partners to resolve EDI and data discrepancies.
  
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments for new customers, carriers, and enhancements.
  
• Ensure data accuracy, SLA compliance, and operational continuity.
  
• Maintain EDI mapping documents, partner specifications, and operational runbooks.
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Seeburger EDI platform (implementation, support, mapping, and monitoring).
  
• Strong experience in EDI support and implementation within logistics or transportation environments.
  
• Hands-on knowledge of ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT standards.
  
• Solid understanding of transportation and freight processes (order, tender, shipment, delivery, invoicing).
  
• Experience integrating EDI with enterprise systems such as Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), ERP, and WMS.
  
• Knowledge of secure data exchange protocols including SFTP, AS2, and related communication standards.
  
• Experience with other EDI or integration platforms (Oracle OIC B2B, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Sterling, Cleo) is a plus, but Seeburger experience is required.
  
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and communication skills.
