JOB SUMMARY

As a part of the CBRE research team, the role will largely be centered around having an understanding of the Indian economy and the macro-economic factors that impact the growth of the economy and the real estate sector. While qualitative inputs will be critical for authoring thought-leadership pieces, quantifiable inputs will be key to communicate data- backed results to internal and external stakeholders. Versatility, quick thinking, quality output and adherence to delivery timelines will be crucial for the role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The candidate must be a masters in economics with a demonstrated ability to drive forecasting models that build in macro-economic covenants
• Relevant experience of at least 5 years
• Understanding of the interlinkages that the RE sector has with factors such as the economy, and how these factors can impact supply and demand in the next 2-3 years.
• Policy/economy trends that impact/can impact the real estate sector.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and author thought-leadership papers (conference papers, thematic papers, viewpoints, surveys, articles, newsletters etc.) from conception to end.

• Master’s in economics is a must
