Description
As a Front End Architect in the Ecommerce sector located in Bangalore and Thiruvananthapuram, your role involves conceptualizing and defining the client-side architecture of a state-of-the-art real-time e-commerce software product. You will lead the implementation to ensure optimal performance across various platforms, languages, and devices, enhancing the shopping experience for customers through innovative solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Accountable for defining the strategic and tactical direction of the front-end architecture solution for a new software product suite - Lead the technology selection and framework building based on approved wireframes or design concepts - Recommend tools, technologies, and best practices to streamline development, reduce UI defects, and enhance client-side customer experience - Evaluate front-end performance metrics and propose improvements for client-side performance and page-load time - Develop wireframes and prototypes for review by project stakeholders and development team members - Establish and manage the Front End technical roadmap for the product - Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to optimize performance **Qualifications Required:** - 5-7 years of experience in front-end engineering for moderately to heavily trafficked websites - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead Front-End Architect - Proficiency in client architecture and development - Strong knowledge and work experience in HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX, and object-oriented programming - Familiarity with Java, JSP, Servlets, Spring, MVC frameworks, CSS2, CSS3, JQuery, AngularJS, and Ajax - Expertise in utilizing HTML5 utilities for web applications - Understanding of SOAP and REST APIs with experience in writing REST API clients - Hands-on experience in web template engines, web container configuration, CMS, and portal architecture - Ability to address Shopping Cart, Content Management, Workflow management, Localization, and scalability aspects - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills **Must-Have Expertise In Few Of The Below Skills:** - Proficiency in JavaScript technologies like JQuery - Strong understanding of MVC frameworks, especially Spring MVC - Experience in Web Analytics, Mobile Web/App technologies, Social Media Integration, Web container configuration/tuning, CMS, and Web Template frameworks **Added Advantage:** - Knowledge of analytic tracking and modern JavaScript frameworks - Familiarity with GUI testing technologies, Mobile Web/App development, Internet Marketing Methods, and Agile SDLC (SCRUM) - Experience in Responsive Design and implementing leading packages in various functional areas like Search & merchandising, Content management, SEO, Big data handling, and more This role requires a Bachelor's degree in B.Sc/B.Com/M.Sc/MCA/B.E/B.Tech and offers an opportunity to work in the IT/Computers-Software industry as a Technical Architect.
