Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Financial Statements Preparation:

    Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with INDAS / IGAAP
  • Month-End Close:

    Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
  • MIS

    Preparation of MIS and analysis of actual performance with budget
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements, including tax filings and statutory audits.
  • Financial Analysis:

    Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgeted figures, identifying trends and providing insights for management decisions.
  • Consolidation:

    Consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities within Invit

Internal Controls:

  • Policies and Procedures:

    Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Audit Support:

    Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit processes.
  • Reconciliations:

    Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Budget Preparation:

    Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, working closely with various departments to gather necessary information.
  • Forecasting:

    Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data, current trends, and future projections.

Preferred candidate profile

The Candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (LODR, Invit, Companies Act), and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in financial reporting, particularly within the infrastructure or road industry or Invit.

3-4 years of experience in financial reporting roles, preferably within the road sector or infrastructure industry

Strong understanding of IND AS / IGAAP or concession agreements. Familiarity with the road sector is an advantage.
