Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Running FEA simulation (Linear/Non-Linear/Transient) in NX Nastran
Understand and analyze gear geometries through structural FEA
Running multi body simulation
Duty cycle simulation / fatigue calculation of Axle / differential / gears
Define testing method and validation wrt SOR/ New Product Requirements
Prepare product drawing as per customer specifications and requirements
Design New Gear Geometries
Validate the design using simulation tools( UG NX)
Carry out iterative design improvements
Support NPD manufacturing and validation
Liaise with internal team and external agencies to achieve NPD development goals and timeline
Study customer engineering drawings for manufacturing feasibility in consultation with team
Perform DFMEA
ECN management

Preferred candidate profile

BTech/ MTech Mechanical with 7 to 12 Years of work experience
Should have excellent knowledge and experience in one of the following
Knowledge of following:
structural optimization strategies through FEA
Siemens NX Nastran / MSC Nastran.
Nonlinear simulation
Assembly simulation
Co-relation WRT simulation & physical results
Failure theory understanding, Solid mechanics
Analytical Aptitude
