As a Design and Development Engineer for Construction Equipment based in Vadodara, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of designing and developing world-class construction equipment. With a qualification of BE Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical and 8-15 years of experience in the Engineering Industry, your expertise in Construction/Concrete Equipment will be an added advantage. Your role will involve utilizing your proficiency in computer-based tools such as NX Nastran, Solid Edge, Teamcenter, and Microsoft ERP. A good understanding of material standards and design processes, along with conducting design calculations, will be essential for this position. At our state-of-the-art R&D center in Vadodara, you will have the opportunity to work with digital prototyping tools to virtually design, simulate, and test new machines for performance, stress analysis, dynamic response, and product life cycle, including fatigue analysis. We are committed to integrating the latest software and technologies to ensure our equipment is at the forefront of industry standards. Your responsibilities will include the design and development of construction equipment, validation of 3D models and manufacturing drawings, and ensuring the quality of drawings. You will also be involved in validating BOM/ECN for design management, conducting design calculations, and collaborating with team members to build prototypes. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will engage in value engineering of existing products, stay updated on technology trends, conduct field visits for design assessment and validation, provide engineering support to sourcing and production teams, and select materials based on application requirements. You will be expected to develop and design complete systems independently to meet market demands, lead design discussions with customers, consultants, and suppliers, and review and improve working methods, manuals, and instructions for processes.
