DuckCreek DMS - Business Analyst (Consultant)

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) with hands-on experience in DuckCreek DMS to join our InsurTech team at Wits Innovation Lab. In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between our clients, development teams, and product goals turning business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.Key Responsibilities:Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications.Analyze and understand existing DuckCreek DMS implementations, configurations, and workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, architecture) to ensure successful delivery of solutions.Create user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria to guide development teams.Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product demos.Assist with UAT, issue tracking, and communication of updates to stakeholders.Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within DuckCreek DMS usage.Required Skills & Qualifications:3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in the DuckCreek DMS ecosystem.Strong understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance domain processes and products.Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.Familiarity with integrations, policy lifecycle, and workflow configurations within DuckCreek is a plus.Good to Have:Experience in other DuckCreek modules (e.g., Policy, Billing, Claims)Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA)Experience with SQL or reporting toolsWhy Join Wits Innovation LabWork on cutting-edge InsurTech projectsA collaborative team that values both ownership and innovationFlexible work environment with remote-first cultureGrowth-focused opportunities with real impactLocation - Mumbai, Delhi / NCR, Bengaluru , Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune,Remote
