We are seeking an experienced Drupal/Apigee Developer Portal Developer to design, build, and maintain our enterprise developer portal. This portal is a critical tool for providing internal and external developers with the API documentation, access, and tools they need. You will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining our API Portal, and in all participate phases of the development life-cycle. This includes managing the portal's lifecycle, from initial setup and configuration to ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and ensuring optimal performance and security within a cloud-hosted environment.

Key responsibilities

Drupal development

• Develop, customize, and maintain the Drupal-based developer portal, including creating custom modules, themes, and templates.
• Perform site-building tasks, such as configuring content types, taxonomies, and views to match design and functionality requirements.
• Ensure the portal's security, performance, and scalability.
• Manage and implement Drupal core and module updates.

Apigee integration

• Integrate the Drupal portal with the Apigee platform using standard and custom Apigee modules.
• Utilize Apigee's API Catalog and SmartDocs to automatically publish API documentation within the portal.
• Configure and manage API key registration, user synchronization, and access control between Apigee and Drupal.
• Build custom features that leverage Apigee APIs, such as displaying API analytics or managing team permissions.
• Upgrades & Maintenance:
• Plan and execute upgrades of the Drupal core, contributed modules, and Apigee-specific modules to ensure security, performance, and access to new features.
• Manage patches, security updates, and bug fixes for the Drupal environment.
• Perform regular health checks, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of the portal.
• Cloud Hosting & Infrastructure:
• Deploy, manage, and optimize the Drupal Apigee Developer Portal on a cloud platform (e.g., , Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS).
• Configure and manage cloud resources (compute, storage, networking, databases) for optimal portal performance and scalability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for portal deployments and updates.
• Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
