Creating detailed technical drawings using CAD software, collaborating with engineers and architects, preparing plans and specifications based on sketches, and ensuring design accuracy. Key skills needed are strong attention to detail, proficiency in software like AutoCAD, communication, problem-solving abilities, and good sketching skills.

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and plans using CAD software like AutoCAD.
• Translate sketches, specifications, and input from engineers and architects into precise technical documents.
• Coordinate structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and interior drawings as needed.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and verify design specifications.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as engineers and designers, to understand project requirements.
• Maintain and organize project files and documentation.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong sketching and technical drawing skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.

Education & Experience:

• May require a diploma or certificate in drafting or a related field.
• Experience levels can vary, with junior and senior roles requiring specific years of hands-on experience.
