Draftsman/woman

Job Overview:

The Draftsman will be responsible for producing high precision 2D Technical Drawings, General Arrangement (GA) plans, and detailed Layouts. This role requires a professional who can take conceptual engineering data and transform it into clear, manufacturable/constructible documentation using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detailed 2D Drafting: Generate precise 2D technical drawings, including sections, elevations, and detailed views
• General Arrangement (GA): Develop GA drawings that illustrate the overall layout of [equipment/structures/piping], ensuring all components are correctly positioned and labelled.
• Layout Design: Create spatial layout drawings to optimize [floor space/assembly lines/structural footprints] based on engineering specifications.
• Standardization: Ensure all drawings follow company-specific layers, line weights, and dimensioning standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with senior engineers to incorporate redline markups and design changes into master sets.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 – 5 Years in a professional drafting environment.
• Education: ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or a certified Technical Drafting program.
• Software Mastery: Minimum 2 Years of professional experience using AutoCAD (Desktop or specialized toolsets).
• Drafting Expertise: Deep understanding of General Arrangement logic and Layout Drawing principles.
• Mathematical Proficiency: Strong grasp of geometry and trigonometry for calculating offsets, clearances, and tolerances.
• Documentation Standards: Familiarity with ISO, ANSI, or local drafting standards.
• File Management: Experience managing Xrefs (external references) and dynamic blocks within AutoCAD to maintain drawing efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
