Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and detailed plans for architecture, interior, and construction projects. The role requires a strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and drafting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, plans, and layouts based on concepts, sketches, or specifications provided by architects and designers.
• Develop working drawings, sections, elevations, and joinery details for execution.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client requirements.
• Modify and update drawings as per design changes or site conditions.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain drawing records and version control for all ongoing projects.
• Assist in preparing presentation drawings and BOQs if required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman in architecture, interior, or construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SketchUp, Revit, or other drafting/design software.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction details, joinery, and material usage.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural & structural drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of 3D visualization software (3ds Max, Lumion, V-Ray, etc.).
• Experience in site coordination and project documentation.
• Basic understanding of Vastu will be an added advantage.
