Job Description

  • A documentation assistant supports various departments by preparing, organizing, and maintaining documents, ensuring they are accurate, compliant, and easily retrievable. Key responsibilities include managing electronic and physical filing systems, creating and editing various documents like reports and manuals, coordinating document production and distribution, and performing data entry and clerical tasks. The role often requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Document Creation and Maintenance: Create, format, and edit technical documents, manuals, reports, and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain company templates and ensure adherence to branding guidelines. Filing and Record Management: Establish, maintain, and organize electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.
  • Perform scanning, photocopying, and digital storage of documents.
  • Information Management: Manage and update computer databases and spreadsheets for document tracking. Ensure proper indexing and archiving of all documents.
  • Clerical and Administrative Support: Perform data entry into databases and spreadsheets. Handle general typing duties. Coordinate document production and shipping, and manage mailing lists.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Verify that all documents meet company standards and legal compliance requirements. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting of documents before distribution.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and electronic document management systems (EDMS).
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to organize information and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: A critical eye for detail to ensure accuracy in documents.
  • Confidentiality: A high level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with colleagues and departments.
  • Education: A degree is common among applicants, but specific requirements vary by employer.

Pay: ₹8,885.11 - ₹21,662.48 per month
