Document Controller

Role Overview: As a Document Controller at Shahpur, you will play a crucial role in the effective and accurate management, control, and retrieval of all documentation related to heavy equipment operations, maintenance, procurement, and project execution. Your strong organizational skills and adherence to strict documentation standards will support engineering, operations, and audit requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and control all project and equipment-related documents with accuracy, integrity, and traceability. - Organize, store, and retrieve documents in both physical and electronic formats (hard and soft copies). - Track and update document revisions meticulously to ensure the latest versions are always identifiable and in use. - Implement and maintain document control procedures and systems in compliance with ISO or company-specific standards. - Ensure accurate filing and updating of equipment-related documents such as technical specifications, manuals, service records, and inspection certificates. - Support internal and external audits by promptly and accurately providing required documentation. - Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party inspectors for the submission and approval of equipment-related documentation. - Liaise with engineering and operations teams for efficient document tracking and reporting. - Provide administrative support to the engineering and operations teams regarding document tracking and reporting. Qualifications Required: - 1-2 years of proven experience in document control, preferably within an engineering, operations, or heavy equipment industry. - Graduate/Diploma qualification. Skills Required: - Proficiency in electronic document management systems (EDMS). - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. - Knowledge of document control principles and standards (e.g., ISO standards). - Strong communication and coordination abilities.
