DM/MGR - Automotive Electrical Testing and Facility Management

Role Overview: You will be responsible for automotive electrical testing, diagnosis, facility procurement, and management. Your role will include managing engineering and lab operations, project management, testing of EV components, facility management, EMI/EMC testing, familiarity with test standards and regulations, understanding automotive electrical systems, knowledge of EV charging protocols, and meeting other job requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage engineering and lab operations, preferably in the automotive sector - Independently handle technical meetings with facility suppliers - Drive projects independently or with minimum support, monitor progress, prepare reports for management approvals, and resolve conflicts during implementation - Work cross-functionally with other departments for project execution - Possess strong documentation, information handling, and follow-up skills - Conduct testing of EV components and evaluate their performance - Manage facilities by coordinating with suppliers for AMC, budgeting, identifying critical spare parts, managing inventory, tracking open points, and handling data - Conduct EMI/EMC testing of vehicles/electronics in EMC test chambers using RF equipment and test automation software - Familiarize with test standards and regulations such as ECE R10-05, AIS004, AIS-038, and AIS-041, and interpret requirements for implementation - Understand automotive electrical systems, communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet, LIN, use of CANOE/diagnosis tools, and vehicle architecture - Knowledge of electric vehicle architecture and charging protocols like CHAdeMO, CCS, etc. - Possess driving experience in 2W and 4W vehicles, comfortable in English and Hindi (Japanese is an advantage), strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and willing to travel locally or abroad for varying durations Qualification Required: - B.E. / B.
