Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Accounts Receivable (AR) specialist based in Chandigarh. The role involves monitoring and managing accounts receivable processes, handling claim submissions, conducting follow-ups with insurance companies and healthcare providers, and ensuring timely collections. The candidate will engage in denial management, debt collection, and invoicing to contribute to revenue cycle optimization, while maintaining a high level of customer service and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and resolve claim denials effectively
• Proficiency in finance, accounting principles, and invoicing processes
• Effective communication skills for liaising with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers
• Experience in debt collection and managing accounts receivable
• Knowledge of medical billing processes, including DME-specific billing, is an advantage
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using billing software and other related tools
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred
