DLP Operations Analyst - Cyber

As a DLP Operations Analyst at our company in Mumbai, your role will involve managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, particularly Zscaler. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to DLP alerts and incidents, investigating data leakage incidents, maintaining incident documentation, generating reports, and optimizing DLP policies. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and staying updated on industry best practices will be essential. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor, analyze, and respond to DLP alerts and incidents following defined processes. - Investigate data leakage incidents and coordinate with internal teams for resolution. - Maintain incident documentation and ensure timely case closure. - Generate and distribute reports and dashboards on DLP incidents and trends. - Optimize DLP policies based on alerts, false positives, user behavior, and security threats. - Collaborate with InfoSec, IT, and compliance teams to enhance data protection frameworks. - Stay updated on DLP technologies and propose process improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in security operations, with a focus on DLP. - Hands-on experience with Zscaler DLP or similar tools. - Familiarity with incident handling and triage in a security operations environment. - Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. - Ability to interpret and adjust DLP policies for improved detection and reduced false positives. - Effective verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach.
