Job Description

We are looking for Django Developer / Python Backend Developer

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 2-6 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Industry: Software Product / SaaS / Technology

We are looking for a Django Developer to join our product engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, developing APIs, and contributing to the core architecture of our software products. You will work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and Django
Build and manage RESTful APIs for product features and integrations
Work with databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB)
Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate user-facing elements
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
Support deployment and CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python and Django / Django REST Framework
Experience in building product-based or SaaS applications

Solid understanding of MVC/MVT architecture
Hands-on experience with REST APIs
Knowledge of SQL & ORM
Familiarity with Git / Version Control
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
