Distributor Channel Manager

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Distribution Channel Manager to oversee, optimize, and expand our distribution network for PVC pipes. The role requires strategic thinking, deep knowledge of channel sales, and a hands-on approach to drive revenue, enhance dealer relationships, and streamline supply chain efficiencies across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy & Development

• Design and implement channel strategies to drive growth and coverage in both rural and urban markets.
• Identify and onboard new distributors, dealers, and stockists in untapped territories.

Dealer & Distributor Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors to ensure sustained business volumes
• Resolve channel partner grievances and ensure service quality standards
• Monitor and improve dealer profitability and ROI.

Sales Operations

• Collaborate with the Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and stock availability
• Track and analyze distributor performance through regular reviews, data, and field visits.

Promotions & Schemes

• Implement trade schemes, discounts, and loyalty programs tailored for different channel partners
• Monitor effectiveness and ROI of promotional activities.

Market Intelligence

• Conduct periodic market and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing, and best practices.
• Share actionable insights with leadership to adjust go-to-market plans.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure proper documentation for distributor agreements, pricing, claims, and statutory compliance.
• Monitor credit limits, payment cycles, and financial discipline in the channel.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong understanding of channel dynamics in Tier 1, 2, and rural markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across regions.
